Maintenance Worker Resume Tips

Maintenance and facilities resumes overlap with construction. Highlight:

• Systems you maintain: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing
• Preventive maintenance schedules and work orders completed
• Downtime reduced or response times improved
• Certifications: EPA 608, OSHA 10, forklift

Example: "Completed 25+ work orders weekly across 3 apartment buildings, cutting average repair time from 4 days to 2."

Construction Superintendent Resume

Superintendents are hired on project results. Include:

• Project size and type: dollar value, square footage, building type
• Subcontractors and crew size you managed
• Schedule and budget outcomes
• Safety record (EMR, recordables, OSHA compliance)
• Software: Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project

Construction Industry Resume Format

• Use a simple, single-column template. Many contractors use ATS too
• Put licenses and certifications near the top
• List projects or sites with results under each job
• Keep it to one page unless you're a superintendent or manager
• Include a valid driver's license if the job requires travel between sites
